Kasha Cobb, 16, a Goodrich High School student, bagged this Atlas Township gobbler at about 6 p.m., May 3 during the Michigan Spring Turkey Hunt for private property.
Kasha was hunting with her grandfather Robert Cobb from a ground blind. He called the tom within 30 yards before she dropped the bird with a Remington 12-gauge shotgun using 5 shot load. The tom had a 10-inch beard and 1-1/2 inch spears. It was Kasha’s third turkey. Photo provided.
