Kristin E. Cross, senior at Clarkston High School, received the Daughters of the American Revolution’s Good Citizens Award for 2009.
Sponsored by DAR Sashabaw Plains Chapter, Cross and three other area students were honored with flowers, Good Citizens winner’s pin, certificate, wallet recognition card and gift certificate.
Students are selected by faculty and then a vote by the senior class. They are students who demonstrate qualities of good citizenship at home, community and school. They exemplify qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism.
