Soccer season marked with fun, success

The Lady Dragons varsity soccer team ended their season ranked as the 11th team in the nation, according to ESPN’s Fab 50, and second in the state.
‘We are disappointed the season ended, but our team really rallied together to combine success with fun,? Coach Ken Snage said.
Tuesday, June 2, the Lady Dragons kept on kicking into the regional semifinal game in the state soccer tournament. They played against Troy High School.
Here, the girls suffered their first and only defeat of the season with a 3-1 loss.
Snage said he is very proud of all his players? accomplishments this season.
‘The kids trained so hard from January until June. This is a statement of their desire and resolve, which I am most pleased with,? Snage said.
The Lady Dragons had a final record of 19-1-3 with an undefeated regular season and 19 shutouts.
