The PFC Joseph Miracle Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Gregory King, Brandon High School senior and student athlete. This scholarship was established to honor the life and sacrifice of Joseph Miracle, killed in action in Kunar Province, Afghanistan on July 5, 2007. Joseph was a 2003 Brandon High School graduate and captain of the football team.
The criteria for this $1,000 scholarship is: Brandon High School senior who has been a varsity athlete for at least two years, has a coach’s recommendation, writes an essay on ‘teamwork,? and holds a minimum overall 2.0 GPA.
Gregory King was a member of the Brandon High School soccer team and will be attending Grand Valley State University in the fall to pursue a degree in business.
