Resolution to Proceed With Improvements to Lakeville Lake
At a special meeting of the Lakeville Lake Improvement Board held in the Addison Township Complex on the 23rd day of June, 2009, at 6:30 p.m., local time.
PRESENT: Alberty, Pearson, Ploof and Woodring
ABSENT: Jacobsen
The following resolution was offered by member Alberty and seconded by member Woodring.
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the improvement program for Lakeville Lake; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Lakeville Lake Improvement Board to proceed with implementation of a five-year lake improvement program (2010 to 2014) consisting of aquatic plant control, herbicide treatment coordination/inspections, information dissemination/education, administration, and contingencies, with an annual cost of $76,500.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT:
1. The Lake Board hereby determines that the proposed improvements are practical and it confirms its intent to proceed with the improvements.
2. The Lake Board hereby approves the lake improvement program and the estimate of costs for the improvements.
3. This resolution shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation in Oakland County. The project shall not, thereafter, be subject to attack except in an action brought in a court of competent jurisdiction within 30 days after publication.

TAKE NOTICE that the Lakeville Lake Improvement Board has confirmed the Special Assessment Roll for improvements to Lakeville Lake. The Special Assessment Roll in the amount of $382,500 has been prepared for the purpose of assessing the cost of aquatic plant control, herbicide treatment coordination/inspections, information dissemination/education, administration, and contingencies over a five-year period (2010 to 2014). Said Special Assessment Roll and all assessments thereon are final and conclusive unless attacked in a court of competent jurisdiction within 30 days of this notice.
This notice is being published pursuant to Part 309 of the Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act, PA 451 of 1994, as amended.

TAKE NOTICE that the Lakeville Lake Improvement Board will hold a public hearing on the practicability of a five-year improvement project for Lakeville Lake consisting of nuisance aquatic plant control, plant control coordination, information dissemination and education, administration, and contingencies. The project would begin in 2010 and continue through 2014, with an annual cost of $76,500. The hearing will be held at the Addison Township Complex located at 1440 Rochester Road, Leonard, Michigan at 6:30 p.m., on Tuesday, June 23, 2009.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE that special assessment rolls have been prepared and are on file at the Addison Township Hall for public examination during normal business hours. Said special assessment roll has been prepared for the purpose of assessing the cost of the improvement project to benefiting properties.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Lakeville Lake Improvement Board will hold a hearing immediately following the aforementioned hearing of practicability for the purpose of reviewing said special assessment rolls and for hearing any objections thereto. An owner of, or party with interest in real property to be assessed, or his/her agent, may appear in person to object to the special assessment or may protest such special assessment by letter filed with the Lake Board at, or prior to, the time of the hearing. Written objections may be filed with, or mailed to, the Lakeville Lake Improvement Board c/o Addison Township Supervisor, 1440 Rochester Road, Leonard, Michigan 48367. Notice is also given that the owner of any real property within the Lakeville Lake Special Assessment District who, having made an objection to said special assessment either in person or in writing, may, within thirty (30) days after the confirmation of the special assessment roll, appeal such special assessment to the Michigan Tax Tribunal or other court of competent jurisdiction.

RESOLUTION TO REVISE existing lakeville LAKE MECHANICAL WEED HARVESTING PROGRAM
At a meeting of the Lakeville Lake Improvement Board, held at the Addison Township Offices on the 2nd day of March, 2006 at 7:00 p.m.
Present: Patterson, Koski, VonDrak, Woodring, Kozma
Absent: None
The following resolution was offered by Kozma, supported by VonDrak:
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing was held to consider revisions to the existing Lakeville Lake Mechanical Weed Harvesting Program and,
WHEREAS, the proposed Program revisions consist of augmenting the ongoing mechanical harvesting of weeds with aquatic herbicide treatments for a period of three years, commencing in 2006 and,
WHEREAS, there will be no additional assessments for this aquatic weed control program revision.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Lakeville Lake Improvement Board:
? determines that the proposed revisions to the Mechanical Weed Harvesting Program to be practicable;
? confirms its intent to proceed with the Program revisions;
? approves of the revisions to the Mechanical Weed Harvesting Program for a period of 3 years, commencing in 2006, and the estimate of cost as presented, resulting in no additional assessments for this aquatic weed control program and
? directs that this Resolution be published in the Oxford Leader.
