Oakland County Sportsmen’s Club, 4770 Waterford Road, hosts a Desert Angel Miracle Box packing party, 3-7 p.m., Thursday, July 23.
Goal for this packing party is to send products made in Michigan, to support local business as well as the troops.
Suggested items include canned, packaged, and instant foods, personal care items such as chap stick, socks, and sun block, and entertainment items such as DVDs and video games.
Donations are also accepted to defray postage, about $12 per box.
