Hundreds of athletes converged on Depot Park early Sunday morning for the annual Craig Greenfield Memorial Tri & Du, with local men and women doing their hometown proud.
Matt Inch, a 21-year-old Clarkston resident, finished the triathalon first overall, with a time of 1:20:42. Tim Polonkey, also of Clarkston, finished in the number two spot, just five seconds behind Inch. Less than seven minutes later, 17-year-old Michael Inch caught up with his brother on the other side of the finish line.
Krista Walker, 29, of Davisburg, was the top female finisher, coming in at the number 18 spot overall with a time of 1:37: 14.
