Dear Editor:
On Aug. 2, Cook’s Farm Dairy hosted a benefit concert presented by Cross Roads to raise funds for OCEF (Ortonville Community Emergency Fund). It was a wonderful event, beautiful evening, with uplifting Christian music. Thanks also to the generous patrons who stopped, listened, and donated as the buckets were passed for a free-will donation. OCEF (and the clients) are most grateful for the $600 donated that evening.
So a heaping bucketful of thanks to Cook’s Farm Dairy for hosting the event, which included a flat-bed truck for a stage and straw-bale amphitheater seating, and to Cross Roads, a talented group of musicians and vocalists from Seymour Lake UMC for a heart-warming concert, to the Petrusha family for providing the popcorn concessions, and to all who stopped, listened, and donated generously. God bless you one and all.
