Clarkston PTA and Flu Busters’ upcoming influenza vaccination clinic has been cancelled.
The clinic set for Oct. 24 at Clarkston Junior High School was cancelled due to scheduling conflict with Oakland County.
‘We’re really very sorry that circumstances beyond our control have caused us to cancel this flu clinic.? said Elizabeth Egan, president of Clarkston PTA. ‘Unfortunately, HIPPA laws prevent us from contacting the people who have pre-registered to notify them of the cancellation. It’s important they know what their options are to get vaccinated or get a refund of their payment.?
Those pre-registered can call 770-512-8566 ext. 539 for a full refund, or they can attend Flu Busters clinics at Sam’s Club, where Clarkston vouchers will be honored.
Sam’s Club does not reserve time slots. Locations and hours include:
Sam’s Club, 4350 Joslyn Road, Auburn Hills, 3-5:45 p.m., Oct. 23, or 12-2:45 p.m., Oct. 24, or 495 Summit Drive, Waterford, 3-5:45 p.m., Friday, Oct 23, or 12-2:45 p.m., Oct. 24.
Seasonal Flu Nasal Mist vaccine will not be available at these clinics, so those who ordered them should call for a full refund.
