Computer recycling

Classic Computer Recovery owner Linda McFarland hosts the Computer and TV Recycling Event, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, at Sashabaw Middle School, 5565 Pine Knob Lane.
Items accepted for recycling are computers and all computer related items including desktops and notebooks, towers, servers, hubs, printers, monitors, floppies, hard drives, memory, circuit boards, scanners, as well as cell phones, televisions, VCRs, DVD’s, satellite receivers and antennas, and gaming systems.
Most items are collected free ? fees from $5-$35 apply to items with lead-based glass such as televisions and monitors.
The school also accepts donations for Lighthouse Emergency Services in Independence Township. Students of Clarkston High School and Sashabaw Middle School are volunteering at the event.
