High school aims at ‘modified block? schedule Parents and students came to a meeting at Lake Orion High School armed with questions about the new modified block schedule set to begin next year. Administrators said they’re implementing changes in an effort to cut costs; approximately 13 teachers would be sliced from the payroll, administrators said, saving the district about $800,000 annually.
