Clarkston Community School are hosting two community presentations on school funding.
As you may know all public schools in Michigan are facing tremendous difficulties due to the state’s reduction in per-pupil funding. By now, most of you are aware that funding predictions for next year are expected to be worse. The presentations are to help the community understand school funding, the impact of state reductions and the process Clarkston Community Schools will use to address funding shortages.
The first is held on Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. and the second on Thursday, Jan. 14 at 12 p.m. Both are at the Administration Building, located at 6389 Clarkston Road.
These are repeated sessions for those that may have missed the two presentations held in December.
