Big Chief Chorus elects new officers

New officers for Big Chief Barbershop Chorus are President Jack Teuber of Waterford; vice presidents Bill Holmes of White Lake and Roger Holm of Clarkston; Secretary Bill Auquier of Clarkston; Treasurer Dick Johnson of West Bloomfield. Members at Large include Ron Clarke of Lake Orion, Wayne Cheyne of White Lake, and Eric Domke and Fred Pioch of Waterford. Past-President is Irwin Mann of Oxford. The chorus has 62 members across north Oakland County. Clarkston members also include Walt Bachmann, Neil Braun, Walt DeNio and Dar Johnson. The Big Chief Barbershop Chorus has installed new officers for 2008. The chorus has 58 members residing in villages and townships across North Oakland County.
Starting their term of office in January are President ‘Doc? Mann (Oxford), Vice Presidents: Wayne Cheyne (White Lake), Roger Holm (Clarkston), Jack Teuber (Waterford), Secretary Bob Butcher (Waterford) and Treasurer Dar Johnson (Clarkston). Members at large include Ron Clarke (Lake Orion), Dave Shantz (Ortonville), Gil Schreiner and Dave Myre (Waterford).
In addition to Clarke, other Lake Orion members are Tom Blue, Fred DeVries, Ross Ensign, Bill Nevaux and Mel Parrish.
The chorus celebrates its 65th year of singing this April. Their motto is ‘Good Singing, Good Fun and Good Fellowship.?
