After a list of 15 of ideas and narrowing it down to four, the Bailey Lake Elementary Student Council Service Division finally decided a way to raise money for Haiti.
“We cut out hearts and people wrote their names on them,” said council member Marisa Johnson. “We charged one dollar.”
They called it “Hearts 4 Haiti.”
“For $5 you could get six hearts,” said counci member Dana Pangori.
Teachers Mrs. Minot and Mrs. Patterson-Brown said the students planned everything and did it all.
“All the money went for the U.S. Fund for UNICEF,” said council ember Kristen Page.
