While the world was gripped with Olympic fever, Carpenter Elementary students got a private performance from former Olympic athletes during their winter intersession. Jerod Swallows, who was in the 1994 and 1998 winter games, Elizabeth Punsalan, pictured, 1994 and 1998, and Aaron Parchem, 2006, spoke to the students about the dedication, sacrifices and what it was like being at the Olympics.
