On March 28, a Brandon deputy responded to the 3900 block of Azalea Court for an unwanted subject. On the way, the deputy was advised by dispatch that the responsible left in a gold car. The deputy stopped the suspect’s vehicle on Wildwood Loop near Apple. When he approached and asked for the woman’s driver’s license, she said she didn’t have it.
She identified herself and admitted to having warrants out for her arrest. A LEIN check showed she had two misdemeanor warrants, one for retail fraud out of Auburn Hills and the other out of Oxford for probation violation. Her license had been suspended 17 times and was previously convicted for driving while license suspended four times. The vehicle she was driving was not registered and had improper plates.
She was arrested on the outstanding warrants, as well as for driving while license suspended and improper plate. The case is open pending review from the Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office.
