Springfield Township’s Spring Clean-Up Day is 8 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, May 8, at Springfield Oaks Youth Activity Center, 12451 Andersonville Road. Proof of residency or property ownership required.
Fees for household waste: cars, $1; trailers, $10 or $15 depending on size; SUV/minivan, $5; batteries, $5 each; pick-up truck, $10; freon appliances, $15; large truck, $15; tires, free, no tires on rims. If possible, bag, box or bundle all trash.
Items not allowed are: brush, farm tractor tires, leaves or grass clippings, stumps, oil, propane tanks, paint, flammable liquids, concrete, bricks, hazardous waste. No commercial dumping. No scavenging allowed.
