‘House? actor calls Lake Orion home

Cynthia Watros, a 1986 Lake Orion High School graduate, recently landed a role on the TV show series ‘House.?
Cynthia plays the ex-wife of Doctor Wilson, friend to Gregory House, the main character. ‘They are going to try to work her on for permanent [on the show].? That’s the word from Toni Watros, aunt of the TV star.
‘House? is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Cynthia’s resume. Most recently, she portrayed the mysterious character Libby, in the hit series ‘Lost.?
After graduating from LOHS, Cynthia went to Boston University. From there, she moved to New York and worked as a waitress, where she met her husband. Cynthia now lives in Pasadena, California, with her husband and twin daughters.
‘She was always in skits at school,? commented Toni. Cynthia also worked at the Silverdome when it was still running.
According to Toni, Cynthia has not visited Lake Orion in a few years. ‘She has a lot of aunts and uncles here, and cousins,? comments Toni. Cynthia, however, might come back for a family reunion this July, says Toni.
Cynthia won a Daytime Emmy Award in 1998 for her role as nurse Annie Dutton in the soap opera ‘The Guiding Light.? She has also appeared in numerous sitcoms and TV shows, such as ‘The Drew Carey Show? and ‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.?
