There’s really no polite way to say it ? some people are just pigs. Oinking, mud-wallowing, filthy pigs.
Sitting there on Dunlap Rd., just west of M-24, Saturday morning was a large pile of trash, purposely discarded by some unknown person.
Given the size and scope of this garbage pile, calling the person who dumped it a litterbug doesn’t seem to cut it.
The person who made this mess is a pig, plain and simple.
Fortunately, most people aren’t like that.
In fact, some people are actually willing to roll up their sleeves and clean up other people’s messes.
That’s exactly what members of the Lepping family did as they volunteered in Oxford Township’s annual spring cleanup.
The four of them (shown in the photos above) drove along the road, picking up discarded items, both large and small, to help maintain the township’s rural beauty.
The Leppings, and all the other volunteers, who participating in the cleanup should be applauded for their efforts.
If you see someone illegally dumping garbage on the side of the road, jot down their license plate number and call the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department.
Littering is punishable by a fine of up to $400 and/or up to 90 days in the county jail.
Put pigs where they belong ? in a pen.
