Alexander Pollack, a 2010 Oxford High School graduate, was honored with a Congressional Medal of Merit presented by Congressman Mike Rogers (R-Brighton).
Graduating seniors are nominated for the honor by their schools based on criteria set by the Congressman.
Each student has demonstrated exemplary citizenship and academic excellence throughout their high school careers.
‘It is a privilege to honor these students and recognize their outstanding service to their peers, their schools and their communities,? Rogers said. ‘Their academic achievements and commitment to citizenship are hallmarks of their future as they prepare now for the next milestone in their lives.?
