Letter to the editor: Farmers? market says ‘thanks? for help

Dear editor,
We couldn’t have done it without you.
The Farmers’ Market at Canterbury Village on Tuesdays at 2 p.m. would like to thank the following citizens for their help with support of the market.
Thank you to Supervisor Matt Gibb for covering our sign ordinance concerns, M & B Graphics for their help with posters and flyers and especially Keith Aldridge and the staff of Canterbury Village for their help and support for our community.
The Lake Orion Farmers’ Market in the village on Wednesdays at 2 p.m. would like to thank Debbie Carpenter from the Department of citizen services at the Road Commission for the warning vests for our volunteers that could no longer be used the Road Commission
Thanks our Lake Orion Horseshoe Club and Wayne Thomas for their help and support.
Thanks to Dwight Major for blue bags for ice water holders on these hot days.
Water is provided for our vendors from DDA Director Suzanne Perrault.
Thanks to our gracious volunteers Marty Scypinski, Linda Duddles, Brenda Morehead, and founder Lois Golden for water for our shoppers, and Brad Jacobsen for our opening day White Spruce Trees, and our generous sponsor Crittenton Hospital.
And thanks to our local DDA board, village, and Orion Township boards and councils for their continued support of the farmers markets.
Our crops are coming in fast with this hot weather, so shop local and support your Michigan farmers and businesses at your local farmers’ markets.
