Registration deadline for the Nov. 2 election is Monday, Oct. 4.
To register, stop by Secretary of State or clerk’s offices. Voters must be 18 years old by election day, and U.S. citizens. They must also be residents of the city or township in which they want to register.
Deadline to apply to vote absentee is Oct. 30. Qualifications to vote absentee include age 60 or older, physically unable to get to the polls, and expecting to be absent election day.
