Carrick’s House Concerts opens a new season with Rootstand, with special guest George Worthmore, guitarist and actor, 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 3.
Rootstand combines traditional Irish reels, old world polkas, Caribbean ska, American blues and bluegrass, experimental blues and groove, urban hip-hop, dancehall reggae and electronica. Admission is a $10 donation.
