Clarkston Farmers Market is wrapped up for the year, but fresh farm goods are still available at the Sashabaw Farm Market.
The market, 5438 Sashabaw Road, is open daily, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Vendors include Gardening Angel, organic baked goods and veggies; Fresh Source Farm, chicken, eggs, BBQ sauces, salsa, mustards, and fruit butters; Renee Bettich, pasties and cookies; Amy Gatton, Oliver Farms cheese and meats; and Tom Higginbotham, woodworking, Madge and Gert Soy Candles. The market also offers Michigan produce, cider, caramel apples, pumpkins, mums, and local art displays.
The market opened Oct. 2, and organizers hope to stay open until mid December. On Oct. 16, a pumpkin artist will be on hand to teach children how to paint pumpkins.
