The Oakland County Sheriff’s office is holding its 24th annual “Coats for the Cold” coat drive now through Nov. 30.
New or clean used coats can be dropped off at any of nearly 50 locations around Oakland County, including the Orion Township Sheriff’s Substation, 2525 Joslyn Road.
According the Sheriff’s Office, all coats collected during November will be distributed to several different charitable organizations, who will supply the coats to those most in need at no cost.
