Singing for seniors!
Led by music teacher Peggy Mueller, Super Singers from Clear Lake Elementary last week performed a variety of Christmas carols for the residents of Hope Senior Apartments on W. Drahner Road.
After the show, the fourth and fifth-graders served cake, cookies and punch to the delighted senior citizens, then chatted with them for a while. Watching the two generations interact was a heart-warming experience.
Clear Lake’s Super Singers have been putting on this special holiday concert for about eight years now.
It was first suggested by Carl Anderson, a former custodian at the elementary school.
