Tajana Raukar transformed three blocks of ice into a single sculpture, Jan. 30.
The seven-time World Ice Carving Champion spent the afternoon outside The Birdfeeder and Clarkston Flower Shoppe carving the Valentine’s Day artwork.
Customers and members of the community watched her transform three independent blocks of ice into the heart-themed sculpture. She carved from start to finish live, all complements of The Birdfeeder and Clarkston Flower Shoppe.
‘We wanted to bring Valentine’s cheer to the community,? said Shari Schulz, Flower Shoppe owner. ‘Tajana did an amazing job, and we hope everyone in the area has a chance to stop by and see it for themselves.”
The sculpture will be on display in front of The Birdfeeder and Clarkston Flower Shoppe for as long as it lasts.
The Birdfeeder and Clarkston Flower Shoppe is at 7150 Main Street in downtown Clarkston.
