Developers are looking to build a 100-bed nursing facility at the southeast corner of Clarkston and Sashabaw roads.
Independence Township Board voted unanimously, March 1, to approve first reading of an amendment to allow Pine Knob Corporate Center for Medilodge of Clarkston to build it.
