Leonard Elementary students have been participating this week in the annual ‘Jump Rope for Heart!? fund-raiser for the American Heart Association.
In addition to raising money for help prevent heart disease and raising public awareness, the event also teaches kids the important role physical activity plays in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
