A touch of spring

Downtown Lake Orion hosted the fourth annual Flower Fair and Lake Orion Home and Garden Market Place on May 21-22. The streets were crowded with people doing their spring shopping.
Besides purchasing annuals and perennials, patrons could also find out the latest trends and designs for landscapes and ponds, and get advice from professionals on how to create a great garden.
Coffee shop-style musicians and dancers provided entertainment, as well as pony rides, fun characters and a moonwalk for the kids. A food tent featured tasty treats from Sagebrush Cantina.
The Orion Art Center held their Art in Bloom Art Fair in conjunction with the event this year.
