Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies are searching for the man who robbed the Clark Station on M-24 late Monday night.
According to the Sheriff’s report, a white male entered the Clark Station around 9:15 p.m. and pointed a silver gun at the store’s 61-year-old assistant manager. The employee, who is also a resident of Oxford Township, pressed the silent panic button while retrieving cash from the register. The thief took the money and left the station through the front door. The employee reported seeing him head south towards the Mr. Car Wash.
Police arrived shortly afterwards and a police dog was brought to follow the track. However, the dog lost the trial through some trees and little evidence was available in the store.
The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the case. Officials are looking for a white male, approximately 5?5?? in height and weighing around 130 pounds. He wore a gray ski mask, gray sweat shirt, gray pants, gloves and used a silver, 6-inch hand gun.
Police have contacted a second store employee who left the establishment around 9:00 p.m., but did not acquire any leads. The 21-year-old provided a detailed account of her whereabouts and cooperated fully with authorities.
No leads have been established yet in the case.
