Old Newsboys’ Goodfellows honors Clarkston rocker Kid Rock with the Edward H. McNamara Goodfellow of the Year Award, 8 a.m., Friday, Sept. 30, at Cobo Center in Detroit.
The award recognizes Rock’s philanthropic initiatives throughout the Detroit area.
Tickets are $150. Proceeds go to Detroit Goodfellows’ fund-raising goal of $1.3 million to provide Christmas gifts to 35,000 children in need.
