Members of the Oxford Lions Club will be out and about this week selling 500 donated copies of the Oxford Leader as part of the group’s annual Goodfellows Newspaper Drive. They will selling papers at the intersection of Washington (M-24) and Burdick streets on Thursday, Dec. 1 and Friday, Dec. 2 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., then again on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Proceeds will be used to ensure that local families in need have a Merry Christmas this year by receiving clothing, food and toys.
