Wild Ones, North Oakland Chapter, hosts Biodiversity Live, 7:30-9 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 1, at St. Daniel Church Cushing Center, 7010 Valley Park Drive.
Presenters with the Organization for Bat Conservation will discuss how plants and animals are connected, balance of natural ecosystems, human impact on biodiversity, and how to protect wildlife.
Live animals include an owl, bearded dragon, sugar glider and a large fruit bat.
