The Clarkston News? Big Deal was particularly big for contest winners Julie (Savoie) Woida and Trish Sinacola.
Sinacola, Clarkston resident, won a 46-inch LCD high-definition television in the latest Big Deal giveaway contest.
‘I think it’s great, it’s awesome,? Sinacola said. ‘I was taken totally by surprise. I forgot I had even entered it.?
The contest was sponsored by The Learning Experience Child Development Center, 7210 Sashabaw Road.
‘Our service is day care, which would leave out people who don’t have kids,? said Pam Rush, owner of The Learning Experience. ? We wanted to offer something anyone can use and that would be fun to get.?
Julie (Savoie) Woida of Clarkston won a photography package from Vivos Images in the Big Deal last May.
Four generations of the Savoie family gathered on a fall afternoon at Bay Court Park.
“The final results are truly priceless,” Woida said. “I would like to send a big thanks to the Clarkston News, Big Deal and Vivos Images. Nancy Gutelius, owner of Vivos, was very accomodating to my family’s needs. She gave us so many pictures to choose from.”
‘The paper’s fabulous, we’ve had a lot of success with it,? Rush said.
