The Grade 7-8 Johnson Destination ImagiNation team from St. Joseph School in Lake Orion teamed up with Clarkston State Bank, HAP and the Department of Human Services to collect new or gently used boots in their campaign StompOutColdFeet.
Sarah Falkowski, Joy Fullerton, Michael Ignagni, Ricky Johnson and Olivia Packard organized the project to help Oakland County families who need help meeting basic needs, including winter attire.
Boot donations can be dropped off at Clarkston State Bank’s Main Street location until Feb. 17.
Other locations collecting boots are Collier Lanes in Oxford; Bishop Kelley Catholic School, Lapeer; Hollywood Markets, Lake Orion; First Baptist Church, Lake Orion; King of King Lutheran Church, Lake Orion; Orion Township Public Library, Lake Orion; and St. Joseph Catholic Church and School, Lake Orion.
