Members of the Lake Orion community came out to support the artistic students of Lake Orion High School on March 11 for their annual art show.
Along with plenty of art pieces to buy and even more to observe, attendees were treated to a number of solo performances from Lake Orion High School’s choir members.
The art show and auction ran from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. It was a chance to pick up works of art from very talented individuals without breaking the bank. Although the auction is over, the art pieces will still be up in Lake Orion High School’s auditorium lobby for display during the school hours through late March.
Anyone who goes to the display during these times and fall in love with a picture or bit of pottery, can still get information about how to purchase it from papers that are hung near the piece with the artist’s name and contact information on it. If there is no paper, contact the art teachers at the high school with inquiries on whether or not that particular composition is for sale.
