LO Men’s Softball League game report

The following game reports are for Lake Orion Men’s Softball League games played on May 29:
Chicago Brothers needed a late-inning rally to keep its unblemished record intact in the LOMSL play. Jamie Jamaldine’s two-out homerun keyed a seven-run seventh inning as Chicago Brothers improved to 7-0 with a narrow 14-12 victory over Advantage Investors Mortgage.
Kyle Fritz went 4-for-4 and Tim Williams went 3-for-3 to spark Chicago Brothers’ 21-hit attack Jason Reetz added a 3-for-4 showing for the winners.
Grant St. Amour went 4-for-5 to lead Advantage, and Todd Brittingham and Brett Slocum chipped in with three hits each. Bobby Bragen went 2-for-2 for Advantage, which suffered its third loss against four wins.
G&G Tree Service 16, Orion/Oxford Eagles 9: Scott Spencer’s two-run single sparked a six-run first inning as G&G jumped out to an early 6-4 lead and never looked back. The win snapped a three-game skid by G&G, which improved to 4-3.
Matt Morris had the hot bat for the winners, finishing with four hits in four trips to the plate. Spencer, who also hit a two-run homer in the third, and Steve Griffin each went 3-for-4. Chris Mize cracked a four-bagger in a 2-for-3 showing.
Jay Traylor and Jason Bailey had three hits each to carry the Eagles, who slipped to 3-4 on the season.
Boathouse Billiards 11, DenMat 9: DenMat had the tying run at the plate in the bottom of the ninth, but Boathouse held off the threat and improved to 3-4 with the win.
Adam Timpf went 4-for-4 to carry DenMat, who fell to 3-4 with the loss. Dave Simmons added a 3-for-4 performance and Brian McCall went 2-for-3.

Endodontics & Associates 17, Hamlin Pub 16: Dusty Miller, Troy Russnell and Dennis Hartwick each homered for Endodontics, who improved to 3-4.
Dave Beltz and Jeremy Reetz were both perfect on the night at 5-for-5 and 3-for-3, respectively. Hartwick also had three hits for the winners.
Gary Nelson, Darrin Sliway and Kevin Cynowa cracked three hits apiece for Hamlin, who slid to 4-3.
SOS Mechanical 19, Wagon Wheel 15: Doug Smith went 6-for-6 and hit two home runs leading SOS to this victory over Wagon Wheel. With the win SOS moved into sole possession of first place in the American Division with a 5-2 record. Wagon Wheel slipped to 2-5.
Kevin Boyt also homered for the winners while Bill Schroeder went 4-for-4 and Roy Phillips finished 4-for-6.
Travis Fuchs went 5-for-5 to pace Wagon Wheel.Bruce Walter helped out with a 4-for-5 performance, and Lance Dubowski went 3-for-5. Charlie Laich went 2-for-2.
