Kaleidoscope golf outing a success

Kaleidoscope Foundation (formally known as Northwest Oakland Community Services) hosted their 12th annual benefit Golf Scramble in May.
A total of 100 golfers turned out to support this organization and its programs. The emcee was Dennis Neubacher from Channel 7 News in Detroit.
Kaleidoscope Foundation, based in Davisburg, provides recreational programs for developmentally challenged adults and senior citizens. It is a non-profit organization started in 1988 serving residents in Independence and Springfield Township, among other areas.
The team which took first place was Kurt Stack, David Stack, Stephen Stack and Damon Salisbury. Louise Allmand was the winner of the women’s longest drive and Casey Layman was the winner in the men’s category. Jimmy Layman on hole #8 came closest to the pin and Annette Taylor was the closest on hole #13 in the women’s category.
