Kingsbury Country Day School in Addison Township celebrated Veterans Day on Monday with some local servicemen.
After being treated to a delicious breakfast, the veterans introduced themselves, then listened as students talked about what Veterans Day means, read original poetry and even sang ‘America the Beautiful.?
Veterans who attended Kingsbury’s event fought in conflicts ranging from World War II to Vietnam. Some guarded and served the country during peacetime. All deserve thanks.
