Government officials must be sworn in before they can be sworn at.
But seriously folks, Oxford Township’s elected officials and deputies took the oath of office on Tuesday, Nov. 20. It was administered by 52-3 District Judge Julie Nicholson.
Taking the oath were Supervisor Bill Dunn, Clerk Curtis Wright, Treasurer Joe Ferrari and trustees Sue Bellairs, Jack Curtis, Patti Durr and Melvin (Buck) Cryderman.
Joining them in the ceremony were Deputy Supervisor Deanna Burns Cushing, Deputy Clerk Renee Wilson, and Deputy Treasurer Tracy Devereaux. Good luck to all.
