Cupid dropped by Fountains Banquet hall on Feb. 15 when 200 area seniors celebrated Valentine’s Day with a luncheon and expo. Wearing shades of red and pink for the occasion, it was clear the magic in cupid’s arrows was still as potent as ever. Don and Nan Nisbett have been married for seven years, while Charles Benson asked Marge Benson to be his Valentine 59 years ago.
After lunch, seniors enjoyed a raffle for 50 different door prizes and munched on cupcakes donated by McLaren Fitness Center. Other sponsors of the event included Lisa’s Confection Connection, Coats Funeral Home, Klever Creations, and Bowman Chevrolet.
