Driver sought in village hit-and-run

Oxford Village Police are seeking information about a white or light-colored Buick Rendezvous with front-end damage.
This is the vehicle believed to have struck a 28-year-old Lake Orion man as he was crossing S. Washington St. (M-24) in mid downtown Oxford. The incident occurred at approximately 12:20 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17.
According to Police Chief Mike Neymanowski, ?(The) vehicle did not stop and fled the scene at a high rate of speed still traveling south.?
The victim was transported to the hospital in serious condition. He had some apparent head injuries, according to the chief.
