Erica Cale, Clarkston High School graduate and founder of Helping Hearts Helping Hands, was back in town, April 26, for her annual Sapphire Ball fund raiser at Deer Lake club.
Now 21 years old, Cale has been running a mission for children in need in Honduras for the past six years. She founded the non-profit group in 2007 while still a student at Clarkston High.
She graduated from Rasmussen College Online in 2011 and now spends most of the year in Honduras.
