North Sashabaw Elementary School’s Alpha Club has been collecting toys over the last month to donate to Mott’s Children’s Hospital to help supply their treasure chest that benefit kids who are being treated for terminal illnesses. On May 30, they met with Kim Karp, the mother of the late Ryan Kennedy, a beloved student and friend to these kids, to deliver the toys.
“We are thankful to have been a small part in giving toys to kids who deserve a smile,” said Melanie Wilson, Alpha Club leader and PTO president of NSE. “The kids named the little white angel bear Ryan. I am especially proud of the kids in every endeavor they took on this school year.”
