If you like men frolicking in tights, feisty swordfights, and high romance, check out Clarkston Village Players? production of ‘I Hate Hamlet,? by Paul Rudnick.
In this dramatic comedy, TV actor Andrew Rally finds himself in New York City with an elegant new apartment, the lead role in a Central Park production of Hamlet, and the larger-than-life ghost of the apartment’s former resident, John Barrymore, as coach for his upcoming role.
Wildly funny duels of words, swords, and wit ensue, with a dash of romance added for good measure.
Performances are Jan. 17-18, 24-26, 30-31, and Feb. 1 at Depot Theatre on White Lake Road. Call 248-575-4104 or go online, www.clarkstonvillageplayers.org/tickets.
