The Oxford Lions Club is sponsoring two $500 scholarships for graduating 2014 high school seniors who reside within the Oxford school district.
To be eligible, students attending public or private schools, or those who are home-schooled, must have a grade point average of 2.0 or better, and plan to attend either a two or four-year college or recognized trade school program after graduation.
Applications are available at the Oxford High School counseling office or at the Oxford Public Library. The applications must be filled out and returned no later than Thursday, April 17.
