If Clarkston Elementary students reached their goal for SCAMP Walk and Roll they would be treated to something special.
They raised $1,971 for the annual fundraising for SCAMP, beating their goal of $1,500. They were also one of the top fundraising schools.
Their special treat – having an opportunity to throw a whip cream pie in the face of their Principal Brian Adams and Physical Education Teacher Lane Hurd, June 9.
“Listen to this math,” Hurd shook his head as Adams explained to the entire school 28 students would throw a pie in the face of Hurd and only 20 for Adams.
Congratulations to Zachary Schachermeyer, Lucy Roeser and Elke Roeser – they raised the most money.
