Although the news is currently ‘unofficial,? Oxford Middle School Principal Kenneth Weaver has been tapped to replace Jim Schwarz as chief academic officer.
‘It’s indeed an honor to be appointed to the position and to follow Mr. Schwarz, who has done an absolute wonderful job,? Weaver told this reporter. ‘It will be big shoes to fill, but I am excited to try and do the best that I can and follow through with the district’s initiatives.?
According to Weaver, an official announcement is expected to be made soon.
