Thirty-five veterans visited Leonard Elementary Friday to share their stories with a group of fifth-graders eager to learn how and why they served their country.
The one-on-one interviews were part of the school’s annual Veterans Day celebration.
Veterans from all the U.S. Armed Forces were represented including those who served in World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War.
